The House
A lovingly restored traditional old house on one of the historic streets of Hinojares.
A space designed for resting, disconnecting, and experiencing the rural essence of the Sierra de Cazorla.
A house with centuries of history
La Rosita is an old, traditional dwelling located on one of the historic streets of Hinojares, a small village in the south of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park.
The house's origins date back to approximately the 15th century, and popular tradition has it that during the advance towards Granada, King Ferdinand of Aragon may have stayed in old dwellings on this very street.
After centuries of history, the house has been restored, preserving its original essence and respecting the traditional architecture of the area.
Recover the original essence
The restoration of La Rosita involved recovering original materials and elements hidden for decades under layers of plaster and later renovations.
During the process, ancient niches, original drawings on the walls, wooden beams, and old adobe and straw bricks appeared, which continue to be part of the home's identity today.
When we discovered what was beneath the walls, we understood that this house was unique and special. For this reason, every detail was recovered with the aim of preserving the historic and authentic character of the house.
Comfort, spaciousness, and tradition
The house combines comfort, spaciousness, and tradition in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
It has 5 bedrooms with double beds, 3 bathrooms—one with a hot tub—a living/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, utensils, and everything needed for a comfortable and peaceful stay.
Additionally, it features a leisure room with foosball, board games, and a small library with books, maps, and information about routes and places to discover the area.
Outside, a cozy picnic area allows you to enjoy the fresh air and the tranquility of the surroundings.
